Alfredo Lopez

Alfredo Lopez was first certified as a Health Promoter at Centro San Bonifacio in 1998, where he worked as a volunteer and later as an official Health Promoter.
Since being presented with the opportunity to work with the Chicago Community Health Workers Local Network in 2007, Alfredo's role has been to organize the network -- helping to build its structure, express its mission in the community, facilitate meetings, and organize the members that make up the Steering Committee, among other tasks. He creates a regular newsletter to keep contacts informed about the activities of the Network, including monthly meetings and workshops, as part of the mission of the Network, and he maintains and updates the Network website, and the Network's new email system -- Constant Contact.
