Averill Gordon is the Manager for Pharmacy Quality Assurance for Walgreen Co. He manages the operations of one of the largest federally certified Patient Safety Organizations in the U.S. and Puerto Rico. He has worked for Walgreens for nearly 15 years in various capacities. Prior to his current role at Walgreens, he was a Commissioned Naval Officer serving most recently at Naval Hospital Jacksonville.
He earned his Doctorate in Pharmacy from Florida A&M University and his MBA in Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Business from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia.
