Beth Pellettieri

Project Manager

Beth Pellettieri has over eight years of experience in the nonprofit field, focusing mostly on adolescent and women’s health issues. She joins HealthConnect One as Project Manager for our Breastfeeding Advocacy work in Illinois. Previously, she worked as an intern and consultant for HC One on Doula Data and the Breastfeeding Data System, two online data collection systems for program evaluation and research.

Before working at HealthConnect One, Beth Pellettieri taught English as a Second Language for adult students in Chicago. She also worked on international HIV/AIDS and reproductive health issues as the International Youth Programs Coordinator for Advocates for Youth.  In a book published in January 2011, Reducing Racial/Ethnic Disparities in Reproductive and Perinatal Outcomes: The Evidence from Population-Based Interventions, she co-authored a chapter on HIV and STI's.

Beth Pellettieri completed her Masters in Public Health with a focus in Maternal and Child Health at the University of Illinois at Chicago in May 2010. She is currently completing her doula certification. Beth is thrilled to join HC One’s staff – and to be part of HC One’s critical role in improving maternal and child health.
