Dr. Espinosa has eight years of experience providing and supervising therapy services to community and child welfare agencies. He has worked in many levels of administration and has developed and implemented community-based programs that include working with Latino youth and families, multicultural issues, and youth outreach. He earned his doctorate in clinical psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology and previously taught as adjunct for Concordia University and Roosevelt University. His interests include multicultural counseling, multicultural assessment, and art therapy. Dr. Espinosa’s current research interests involve examining the mental health effects of deportation on the families of deported immigrants.
