Kathryn Montgomery, PhD is Professor of Medical Humanities and Bioethics and Director of the Medical Humanities and Bioethics Program at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. She is the author of Doctors' Stories: The Narrative Construction of Medical Knowledge and How Doctors Think: Clinical Judgment and the Practice of Medicine, and is past president of the American Society for Bioethics and Humanities.
