Who is the Network?

The National Community-Based Doula Network is composed of maternal and child health stakeholders from across the United States, including:

  • Groups who have established or applied to start a community-based doula program based on the HealthConnect One model
  • Groups who are interested in starting a community-based doula program
  • Advocates who believe in the power of the community-based doula model

We encourage doulas, their supervisors, and agency administrators to join the Network, as well as anyone who would like to be engaged in our advocacy work.

Membership in the National Community-Based Doula Network is *free* and comes with many benefits, including:

  • Doula Advocacy Action Alerts
  • Advocacy updates on the status of federal community-based doula funding
  • HealthConnect One's monthly eNewsletter
  • Invitation to quarterly conference calls and other events
