In 2012, Sarah received her Master’s of Public Health from the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). During her time in graduate school, Sarah served as Graduate Research Assistant at UIC’s Center for Research on Women and Gender, where she worked with community-based organizations in the southernmost seven counties of Illinois to decrease the incidence and prevalence of chronic disease in women throughout the rural region. Before moving to Chicago in 2010, Sarah served as Program Coordinator for the Wisconsin Comprehensive Cancer Control Program, a program of the Wisconsin Department of Health and University of Wisconsin aimed at reducing the impact and incidence of cancer through statewide, regional, and local partnerships.
