Sibyl Medie is a Senior Policy Analyst in Health IT Initiatives at the American Medical Association (AMA). Prior to joining the AMA, Sibyl was the senior legislative consultant for the American Osteopathic Society, and before law school she served as a Research Coordinator at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She also has experience working in regulatory compliance as related to human subject protection.
Ms. Medie received her bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from Northwestern University, her master of science in Biotechnology from Roosevelt University, and her Juris Doctor and health law certificate from DePaul University College of Law. While in law school, she focused on health care policy and regulation, was a fellow in the Health Law Institute, and served as editor-in-chief of the Health Law Journal.
