Brittney Williams is a Clinical Research Coordinator at Northwestern University in the department of Obstetrics & Gynecology. Her current research focuses on a study aimed to help women make more informed decisions regarding delivery approach after a cesarean.
She earned her MPH in Maternal and Child Health from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and her BS in Biology at Xavier University of Louisiana.
She started working with HealthConnect One as an intern with an interest in breastfeeding among African American women. During her time at HealthConnect One, she was able to be part of a great project with breastfeeding peer counselors which she describes as a rich and rewarding experience. Afterwards, she decided to join the Associate Board to continue supporting the organization’s efforts to help moms and babies. She has been a member since the beginning of 2014. She enjoys baking, traveling, drawing, and trying new restaurants!
