Kelly Petrowski is a Project Coordinator at The Ruth M. Rothstein CORE Center, a clinic for the prevention, care, and research of HIV/AIDS and other infectious disease. As part of the CORE Center research staff, Kelly coordinated the AIDS Malignancy Consortium (AMC) clinical trials at John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County, investigating treatment and prevention efforts in HIV and cancer.
From 2008-2011, Kelly served as a United States Peace Corps Volunteer in Malawi, a country in Southeast Africa. As an Education Volunteer, she taught science, reproductive health, and HIV/AIDS prevention to secondary school students and promoted community development programs in rural Malawi.
Kelly received her MPH in Community Health Sciences and Maternal and Child Health from the University of Illinois at Chicago and her BA in Biology from Illinois Wesleyan University. Kelly joined HealthConnect One’s Associate Board in March of 2014 and is proud to support community-based health care for women and families.
