A Community Doula Conversation

HealthConnect One and BirthMatters hosted an open dialogue for community doulas and their allies to close out the first inaugural community doula week. We began with mapping the history of community-based doulas during this conversation, discussing the present challenges and strides made to advance and sustain the profession and the steps necessary to forge a way forward.

Lessons Learned: First Food Equity

Eighteen months into the project, HealthConnect One has utilized the First Food Equity project to increase chest/breastfeeding support. During this webinar, the FFE project team and cohort members will share lessons learned from the first 18 months of the project. Pathways to advance breastfeeding intention, initiation, and duration will also be highlighted.

Lactation Across Borders

During this discussion, panelists working with immigrant communities across America to strengthen their maternal and child health outcomes shared their insights on supporting breastfeeding within these communities.
