Program Development

I have been effective in helping families choose breastfeeding, and sticking with it. It is truly my passion to help restore the confidence in mothering, that was somehow lost in generations.

What We Do

We collaborate with agencies to develop, maintain, improve, and sustain community-based programs to support moms, babies and families.

We are best known for our work developing Community-Based Doula and Breastfeeding Peer Counselor Programs, but we have guided agencies in developing other maternal and child health programs, too. If you tell us what you’re looking for, we will let you know if we can help. Contact us.

How We Do It

For 30 years, we have worked with hospitals, clinics, agencies and community organizations to develop programs that are responsive to their specific communities. We’ve seen what works and what doesn’t work.

To build a program that leverages the strengths and addresses the needs of your particular community, we:

  • Facilitate a process to help you identify your own strengths and challenges.
  • Provide strategies and offer guidelines.
  • Listen actively to what you say you need, and help you to create it.
  • Make ourselves available for guidance and support throughout the implementation process.

Ultimately, we collaborate with you to develop a program that effectively supports moms, babies and families in your community.
